Check out some of these pieces from the lighting exhibition Euroluce during the Salone del Mobile.
Foscarini
The Maki lighting by Nendo was originally just a simple concept created by wrapping two pieces of round paper together to create a lighting product. Some adjustments had to be made when the production material – aluminum – was used. Incisions were made to open up the wrapping, and the result is a soft light source that is Maki today.
This Anisha LED light won’t be available in the US just yet (but in Europe in about six months or so). You just have to love the form.
Magneto lighting – check out the magnet that attaches to the light.
Lladro
This set of lights was actually just delivered to their booth two days ago – It’s a combination of classic Lladro handmade work with some contemporary feel.
