Lately I’ve been thinking about getting some dining chairs. It’s for more of a contemporary setting so I’ve been trying to come up with a few choices, so here they are:
Series 7 Chair
Arne Jacobsen, Fritz Hansen
This chair is really an all-purpose chair for me, whether as a dining chair or even an office chair. I’d like to go with a bolder color like orange to given some color to the room.
PLC Chair
Pearson Lloyd, Modus
Just a very simple, contemporary chair that can set the tone for the room.
Eames Molded Plastic Chairs
Charles and Ray Eames, Herman Miller
Plastics could be fun, but my favorite part of this chair is still wiring pattern on the base that adds a bit of complexity to the chair.
This is just the beginning of course, more to come. Must think about matching dining tables.
