I can’t believe more than a year has gone by since my trip to the ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden. It was definitely a trip I will never forget. This year I followed-up with Ms Sofi Ruotsalainen, a member of the elite ICEHOTEL Art & Design Group, who designs and builds the hotel each year, to see what’s new with this place of wonder in the Arctic Circle. Check out some of the awesome photos below of this year’s designs.
You have until 15 April to visit this year’s ICEHOTEL. Don’t worry if you miss it, there is also a summer edition in which a mini-version of the ICEHOTEL is “frozen” inside a building on the grounds, complete with the world famous ICEBAR!
To visit, you can fly directly from Stockholm, London and now Copenhagen to Kiruna, and then take a bus to the ICEHOTEL.

These photos are absolutely beautiful. I will definitely be visiting the Ice Hotel, what months is it open.
