Japanese design studio Nendo designed these Fishline Chairs as prototypes for INTERIEUR 2012 in Kortrijk, Belgium. Each wooden chair is wound by hand with dyed fishing line on its surface, to give the chair a new luster and unevenness, apart from traditional treatments to wood. Each chair takes about two weeks to complete by hand, including the treatment with fishing line.
