As I continue to sift through all of the wonderful things I missed this year at the London Design Festival, I found out about this 2nd Cycle project by Artek. Apparently a few years ago, Artek began collecting old Artek furniture from schools, flea markets, retirement homes and more and gave these chairs a second life by reselling them to people who will appreciate the original, along with the story it has brought with it since. I’m going to be on a hunt for some of these myself.
