Today Hermès revealed Module H, a modular paneling system designed by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban. The system consists of three main elements, as follows:
Aluminum Structure. This is in the form of a grid that is fixed on the wall with the signature Hermès “H” shapes.
Panel Series. There is a selection of panels in 5 sizes that are proportionate to a 90×90 square (which is also the same size of an Hermès scarf). The backside of the panels has a block that clips into the horizontal portion of the letter “H”.
Materials. There is a combination of leather, textile and colors and shapes that are available for the panels.
Use these to cover walls, build partitions and more. According to Mr Ban, this is a product line that allows you to create your own space with colors for any season.
